Two days ago I was flying from Los Angeles to Anchorage and we over fly San Francisco, the sky was so clear that I took severals shots, over here one of them, it shows San Francisco down town.

The other one, wich I call Moon dancing, was at home of some friends, the Moon was full and the Akelarre night is coming, my friend Lucia dancing.

Hace dos días volava desde Los Angeles a Anchorage y en la ruta sobrevolamos San Francisco, el cielo estaba tan claro que tome unas imagenes, aquí se ve el centro de San Francisco.

La otra imagen de mi amiga Lucia, fue en la casa de unos amigos, que celebraban la noche de Akelarre, que esta cerca y la Luna estaba llena.

Amigos hoy es el solsticio de invierno, la noche mas larga del año y a partir de mañana comienza en verdad el nuevo año, cada día la noche se hace mas corta anunciándonos que la primera vuelve con el eterno ciclo de la vida, hoy amaneció a las 10 de la mañana y se fue el sol a las 3 y algo de la tarde.
Este invierno se presenta muy frió, ya nos ha mostrado su fuerza, con la tormenta de hace 3 días y los vientos de 45 kilómetros por hora con ráfagas de hasta 60, pero el amanecer de hoy fue digno de verse.
Feliz Navidad y un prospero año 2011, todo lo mejor para todos los seres vivientes que habitamos este querido planeta.

Yo no se como explicar lo que se siente en estos casos, despegamos de Anchorage con visibilidad de solo 500 metros y de repente a 8.000 pies, rompimos el manto de nubes y vimos esta imagen.
La Madre Tierra en toda su exuberancia.

El 21 de Septiembre fue el equinoccio de Otoño y tuve la oportunidad de caminar por el cementerio de la ciudad y tomar estas imágenes.

Ayer leyendo en Day 1, la pagina de Internet a la cual pertenezco, el líder del sitio, mi amigo Laurie Jeffery, nos anuncio que el sitio sera cerrado por la Red Ning, el administrador del sitio, ya que contiene imágenes de desnudos.
El oscurantismo se esta cerrando en Internet, sobre todas las paginas que promocionan el desnudo artistico, pero por supuesto no se meten con el gran negocio de la pornografía, ya que paga la mayoría de los espacios.
Hoy es un día triste, pero dedicando mi tristeza a la Diosa de la inteligencia y la cultura,Sofia.

The summer is shading and the night has become a little big larger, around 7 in the evening the shadows begin to clothe the town, September is upon ours shoulders and the short fall will come to tint the landscape again with yellows and browns.
But in a day with a horrible weather, some particular guys came to give us happiness.
July 31st, Elmendorf air force base, the air show is over here and the Blue Angels delight Anchorage people. what a day, nobody could sleep, it was a real ARTIC THUNDER.

El verano se esta llenando de sombras y la noche cada día es mas larga, ya, a las 7 de la tarde las sombras comienzan a arropar el pueblo, Septiembre ya nos pesa en los hombros y el corto otoño, teñirá de nuevo de amarillos y marrones el paisaje.
Pero en un día con clima horroroso, unos muchachos vinieron a darnos felicidad.

El 31 de Julio, el la base aérea de Elmendorf, empezaba el show aéreo de todos los años y los Blue Angles vinieron a deleitar a todo el mundo en Anchorage, ese día nadie pudo dormir con el TRUENO DEL ARTICO.

Con este verano en Alaska, se han batido todos los récords de lluvia y nubosidad por muchos años, aun así fuimos a Talkeetna, el pueblo base para seguir al parque nacional Denali, donde esta el pico mas alto de Norteamerica, el Denali.

El verano esta próximo, 21 de Junio es el solsticio de verano y en la geografía cambiante de Alaska todo es verde ahora.
Con las temperaturas en el rango de los 20 grados, Alaska se llena de turistas y los amantes de la libertad, el viento y los paisajes, nos movemos en motocicletas por todas partes; el primer viaje del verano a Hope, pequeño poblado a unas dos horas de Anchorage, fuimos al restaurante de Tito a comer salmón al carbón y pastel de pera con helado de mantecado, que bello día.

The summer is here, June 21 the summer solstice, and the Alaska landscape tuns green all around.
With the temperatures in the high 60s, a bunch of tourists travel around Alaska; the lovers of freedom, the wind and the wilderness, we take our bikes to ride, first trip this summer to Hope, small town around two hours driving from Anchorage, we went to Tito´s restaurant to eat salmon blackened and pear cake with vanilla ice cream, what a beautiful day.

Taipei es una ciudad moderna con 6 millones de habitantes, que atrae gente de todas partes del mundo, la mayoría por negocios, los cuales ven y disfrutan del modernismo y la internacionalidad de esta segura y acogedora ciudad.

Para el local, existen múltiples opciones que están escondidas en esas pequeñas callejuelas, delgadas y sin aceras, para disfrutar el verdadero Taipei hay que caminarlas.

Taipei is a modern city with 6 millions inhabitants, to it travel people from the whole world, most of them in business, they see and enjoy the new and international city, safe and hospitable.

To local people, there are multiples options hidden in small streets without sidewalks, to enjoy the real Taipei we have to walk this places.

Este invierno fue en extremo interesante, pero en lo que va de primavera no he podido hacer fotos, he estado muy ocupado.
Hoy viendo algunas fotos me conseguí esta que me emociono mucho, ya que representa el magnifico balance que tiene la Madre Naturaleza y mi preocupación sobre la insistencia del ser humano en destruirla por motivos económicos.

We Alaskans are specials, this is happening at -5ºC, the weather is performing its part as well, what a beautiful days! , the image of Chugach mountain range is from my room window, the East side of Anchorage town, the figure picture is a tribute to Ina, the Spring goddess.

La leyenda dice que los dragones son unos seres inconformes, cuando están en el aire quieren estar en tierra y cuando están en tierra quieren estar en el aire.
Si estamos volando queremos volver a contar lo que hemos visto y al estar un tiempo en tierra, se nos llena el alma de volver al aire, a disfrutar mas paisajes sagrados, que solo los dragones podemos ver.

Ella ¿por que? / ELLA why?

Hello, to all my friends.

Some days ago, I was with some friends and one of them asked me, why my blog name is ELLA?, when most of my pictures are cityscapes or landscapes.

I am going to try an answer to that question

From the beginning until the actual time, a polarity has existed in the spiritual matters; there is a tendency to identify as feminine or masculine whatever we are talking about, this polarity can be apply as well to everything in life.

The day, the sun, the war, the physical force, the intolerance, violence, they are masculine; The night, the moon, the tolerance, the esoteric, the mystic, the healing capacity, the universal energy, they are feminine.

Checking the history of humankind, we can see that always existed Goddess and Gods and this is true today as well; after the paganism fell down in the Western world and the Mohammedans conquer the Middle East, the masculine God took more preponderance, but in Hispanic America and in many parts of Europe, the virgin Mary is the central figure of devotion, in the Far East there are many Goddesses with millions of peoples as devotees, some way or another the Goddess is present here today. As en example, you all go and see the film AVATAR.

If we go into the world of poetry, painters and artist of any kind, everywhere ELLA is the central figure, the Muses, who make us happy or destroy our hearts.

What I want to say, the feminine presence is in everything we perceive or see, in a sun rise, in a tree, in my pictures; ELLA is part of it all the time.

Here we have an example of beauty and energy, ELLA, as a gift of a wonderful friend.

Comiendo con unos amigos, uno de ellos me pregunto, ¿por que este blog se llama ELLA?, cuando la mayoría de las fotos son de lugares o paisajes.

Tratare de darle respuesta a esa pregunta.

Desde los tiempos mas antiguos, hasta nuestros días, siempre ha existido una polaridad en el campo espiritual, una tendencia a identificar como femenino o masculino el tema u objeto del que estemos tratando, esto se puede aplicar a todos los temas de la vida.

El día, el sol, la guerra, la fuerza física, la incomprensión, la violencia, son consideradas características masculinas; en cambio la noche, la luna, la comprensión, lo místico, lo esotérico, la ayuda al prójimo, las curaciones, la energía universal, son muestras de lo femenino.

Podemos ver en la historia de los pueblos, que siempre existieron y existen Diosas y Dioses, aunque hoy en día después de la caída del paganismo en Occidente y la toma del Medio Oriente por los musulmanes, el Dios masculino tomo preponderancia, pero en la América Hispana y en muchas partes de Europa, la virgen María es la figura central de devoción; en el Lejano Oriente existen múltiples Diosas, las cuales son adoradas por millones de personas, de una manera u otra la Diosa esta presente hoy aquí, como ejemplo vean la película AVATAR.

Si examinamos el mundo de la poesía, la pintura y todas las artes, veremos que ELLA es la figura central, las Musas que nos alegran a destrozan nuestros corazones.

Lo que quiero decir, es que la presencia de la feminidad esta en todo lo que vemos o percibimos, en un paisaje, en un árbol, en un amanecer, en todas mis fotografías, ELLA esta presente.

Para dar un ejemplo de belleza y energía divina, les regalo esta imágenes de una maravillosa amiga.

No mas tigres en la Tierra / No more tigers on Earth

Hola amigos, esta pagina se esta convirtiendo en un tormento, mas y mas amigos me dicen que escriba mas y que ponga mas fotos, pero en verdad es que no tengo mucho tiempo libre en estos días; aunque siempre tomo fotos, hay que llevarlas a ¨jpg¨ y reducirlas y es un dolor de cabeza.
Pero hoy quiero hablar de algo que me preocupa mucho y es que estando en Nueva Deli en India, leí en el periódico que los tigres se están extinguiendo, solo quedan 1200 tigres en India; yo en verdad que no entiendo a la humanidad, estamos acabando con el planeta, su fauna y flora y lo que se hace en relación a ello es casi nada; uno de los animales mas bellos que existe en pocas generaciones desaparecerá. Se me parte el corazón solo de pensarlo.

Un par de fotos bajadas de Internet, gracias al autor de ellas, no decía en la pagina quien era.

I don't understand the humanity, We are destroying the Earth, the flora and fauna and everyone is happy, one of the most beautiful animal in the world in just a few generations will not walk anymore on this planet.
My heart is broken.

I have been off for a wile, but over here again I want a wonderful year 2010 to everyone and I wish all yours dreams become reality; this winter has been exceptional, Alaska got a white shower so beautiful, with lights and reflections so pretty, in years I haven't seen Alaska like this.

Hola amigos, poco tiempo libre y mucho trabajo.

Pero con el invierno aquí les deseo una feliz navidad y un hermoso 2010.

Muchos acontecimientos que no llegan a nada y el mundo sigue adelante con el calentamiento y los políticos disfrutando del hacer nada.

En estos últimos quince días ha sucedido en Anchorage algo bellisimo, quince días de niebla congelante que torno la ciudad y sus alrededores en algo verdaderamente inusual,¡la fotografía es en colores!, por otro lado empiezo a trabajar en un proyecto maravilloso.

Lago del Cielo, China / Heavens lake, China

En la provincia de Xianjian, cerca de la ciudad de Urumuqi, se encuentra la cordillera de Borohoro, en ella a una altitud de 2400 metros sobre el nivel del mar esta Lago del Cielo, un impresionante lago en el cual esta uno de los templos del Taoísmo mas encantadores, son cuatros horas de carretera de las cuales tres son en carretera de montaña sin asfalto, pero a pesar del incomodo viaje, llegar a el cubre todas las expectativas, un viaje inolvidable.

In Xianjian province, close to Urumuqi city, is the mountain range called Borohoro, over there is Heaven lake, at an altitude of 2400 meters above sea level. Close to the lake, there is a Tao temple, incredible place, worthy to know.
