I am very happy to see how events have developed in Egypt, a good example to show the world that people do not want more dictators in any country.
But freedom still has far to go in those countries that claim to be democratic.
This gull begins a journey toward a dream, true freedom and equal opportunities for all.

I just see this in the Web; J Henry Fair a photographer who wants to show the impact of industry on the environment with his images, this pictures are unmodified, no Photoshop, they are real, even if they look as fine art, they show how the human been is destroying Mother Earth. 

Acabo de ver esto en la Web, J Henry Fair un fotógrafo que desea mostrar el impacto que causa las industrias en el medio ambiente con sus imágenes, esta fotos no están retocadas, sin Photoshop, ellas están tal como fueron tomadas, aunque luzcan como obras de arte, nos enseñan como el ser humano esta destruyendo la Madre Tierra.

Amigos hoy es el solsticio de invierno, la noche mas larga del año y a partir de mañana comienza en verdad el nuevo año, cada día la noche se hace mas corta anunciándonos que la primera vuelve con el eterno ciclo de la vida, hoy amaneció a las 10 de la mañana y se fue el sol a las 3 y algo de la tarde.
Este invierno se presenta muy frió, ya nos ha mostrado su fuerza, con la tormenta de hace 3 días y los vientos de 45 kilómetros por hora con ráfagas de hasta 60, pero el amanecer de hoy fue digno de verse.
Feliz Navidad y un prospero año 2011, todo lo mejor para todos los seres vivientes que habitamos este querido planeta.

My dear friends, today is the winter solstice, the longest night of the year, starting tomorrow the night becomes shorter every day, telling us that spring comes with the eternal cycle of life, today: sunrise at 10 AM, and sunset at 3 something in the afternoon.
This looks a very cool winter, it showed its strength already with the storm 3 days ago and winds of 30 miles gusting to 50 miles per hour; but the sunrise of today was amazing

Niebla en Anchorage / Anchorage mist

Yo no se como explicar lo que se siente en estos casos, despegamos de Anchorage con visibilidad de solo 500 metros y de repente a 8.000 pies, rompimos el manto de nubes y vimos esta imagen.
La Madre Tierra en toda su exuberancia. 
Todo lo mejor para todos

I can not explain how it feels in these cases, we took off from Anchorage with a visibility of 500 meters and suddenly at 8,000 feet, we broke the cloud overcast and saw this picture.
Mother Earth in all its exuberance.
